Join our crew and help us help those in need

Bring Supplies

For those coming to the area, one of our biggest needs is kennels of all shapes and sizes. This has a direct impact on how many animals we can accept daily at our sterilization clinics.   Also consider bringing collars and leashes of all sizes from the dollar store.   Donated medical supplies help keep sterilizations costs low.  Often used items include: Monocryl suture 0.0, 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0; IV catheters 22 and 24; 3 ml syringes; drapes; sterile gloves size 8; and Bravecto or Nexguard.  Other needed supplies include paper towels, pee pads, large garbage bags, along with used towels and sheets in good condition.    Cash donations are always needed and very much appreciated.

Clinic Volunteer

Our large bi-annual sterilization clinics are truly passion in action.   Over the course of four days we typically sterilize over 600 animals.   We have plenty of volunteer positions aligned with different skills and abilitys ranging from set-up, animal intake and recovery to kitchen duty, pre-op companion and animal delivery.   Visit our volunteer sign-up page to see what's available:   https://jbarclinic.volunteershift.com/

Foster

Finding kind-hearted people to foster animals during their recovery, or while they wait for their furever homes is critical to long-term success.   Opening your home and heart can change the world for an animal in need.   Contact your local group to offer help.

Be a Flight Angel

Transporting an animal to Canada or the USA is an easy process. The animal association does all the required paperwork on this end and the new parents will meet you on the other end. Your job is to check the animal in at the airport with help from the animal group. Each country has it’s own requirements which can change so check with your local group to understand the process.

Adopt

There is nothing more satisfying for everyone than to witness an animal transform from a sick, neglected, and unloved animal to a vibrant, happy animal filled with excitement and joy in anticipation of a new furever family to love.   Check out local adoptees.
